Welcome to ECW Digital Media. My name is Emma Willis, and I am a senior in James Madison University’s School of Media Arts and Design (SMAD) pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Interactive Design and a Bachelor of Science in Art.
My passion for art and design began in high school where I completed a Photography Pathway that included dedicated coursework, an internship, and a capstone project. Outside of the classroom, I was involved in the school yearbook and enjoyed snapping shots of my friends and family. When college applications came around, these experiences brought me to SMAD. Some of my favorite and most challenging SMAD projects are showcased here on the site. I have loved learning the ins and outs of the media industry and key design tools throughout my time in SMAD and am looking forward to what I'll continue to create.
